In light of the alarming statistics on occupational accidents and work-related illnesses worldwide, it is clear that the need for rigorous safety education and training has never been more critical. The figures - 340 million occupational accidents and 160 million work-related illness victims annually - are sobering reminders of the vast scope of the challenges we face.
